dsds asked:

So, for breakfast I eat some sweet buns from a bakery. Its usually just bbq sauce with pork or some slightly sweet yellow egg filling. I tried cutting the buns out but when I do, my work out becomes alot more harder and I feel so weak at the end. I eat healthy for all my other meals. I do alot of pushups, situps, dumbell curls and run like 5 miles a day.

xorenée asked:

I should be thinking more of my health then my cravings. I don’t eat healthy at all. Pretty much anything that goes in my mouth has to be deep fried and smothered in ranch dressing. I don’t drink soda, but the fact that I eat so poorly really makes up for that. Can someone give me a list of groceries? Foods that are good + good for you.
I don’t have a weight problem, but at the rate I’m going I will 10 years up the road.

Babs asked:

I have the normal things like crackers, bread, peanut butter, all the little things and sauces, but what is a simple snack that’s quick and easy but just oh so delicious, but not something that would totally blow the purpose of a healthy diet?

I’m wondering because I’m starving and I don’t want to eat any more cookies. I am trying to find a healthy snack besides traditional carrots and pretzels and stuff. Thanks alot!

i have less than 10 pounds to lose. what do you recommend for it? it’s maybe more like 5 or 6, it’s not. maybe one of the reasons it’s not coming off is because it’s not even a lot to begin with. foods that i am eating are brown rice, fish, beans, romain/iceberg lettuce, yogurt, special k cereal w/ skim milk, chicken, and salmon.

Do you need to be financially stable and have money just to have a healthy lifestyle?

curious asked:

My aunt told me that I have to bear in mind that we can’t always have a wonderful and ‘healthy’ food in our house. That is like, I should eat whatever is set on the table. She emphasizes that we can’t always have wonderful healthy recipes- low fat, low calories, etc. healthy living since most of our foods rely on frying, etc.

Can anyone suggest cheap but easy yet healthy main meals, recipes so I can prove to her that having healthy lifestyle don’t hinder lack of money. Even just eating fresh fruits and veggies are a cheap way and one of the steps to a healthy lifestyle isn’t?
That’s why I volunteered to be the cook for a while instead of my grandma… healthy cooking-simple meals, soups, anything with veggies… any suggestion so far? Good and easy recipe cooking website?
Well, I suppose olive oil is expensive to consider… my grandma used to buy that ordinary cooking oil ( I don’t know what’s that made out of). Often, we cook our meals and we don’t rely on ready food fads out there. However, I think it’s a matter of experimenting something new, healthy, and simple cooking without much cost isn’t? I often debate this one to my aunt.
I agree with SubJ that low income is conducive with a much healthier lifestyle since most people buy on markets and markets are everywhere (even on the streets) like in 3rd world countries and most of the fresh stuffs just came from farms or even in nearby provinces. Just notice why most Asians are slim… though I am not generalizing- compared to first world countries.
Well, I suppose to be really strict and stick to a really healthy lifestyle adds additional cost and time. I agree that most of the fatty ones makes one full and sometimes it tastes good and more palatable. However, what I am trying to point out here is that fresh is best isn’t? That to lead a healthier lifestyle is eating sensibly- knowing what is good to eat or not.

College Kid asked:

I am trying to adapt a healthy lifestyle. But everytime when I do it, my parents seem to oppose it. When I excercise they mock me. And they want to force me to eat fast-food resturants almost every single day. And when I refuse they get disappointed and they said that I don’t appreciate them. So, how can make my parents to be in favor in my healthy lifestyle?
