Is it possible to lose four pounds per week and still maintain a healthy lifestyle?

curious asked:

Starting in September, I will try to lose a lot of weight. I am female, 5′8″ and 230 with a large frame. I want to be at 120 by next year. Any comments mocking me won’t affect me. I’ve been ridiculed for years by people offline; some jabs from people online won’t send me into tears.
Thanks for positive answers so far.

“I’m wondering how you came up with the goal weight of 120. I am 5′4″ with a medium build and while I am over my ideal weight right now at 130, I start to look too skinny once hit 120. Have you checked your BMI to make sure that 120 is a realistic target for you considering your height?” Hmm good question. I guess it has just always been my ideal weight, even before I sprouted up to 5′8″. I know it is rather low. I guess 120 is the number that makes me most happy. Haha, I have issues.

If you lose that fast without exersize… Your skin will hang off your body like pizza dough!
